„New Don Quixote” - PREMIERE at the HORZYCA Theatre 2011-01-08

„New Don Quixote” - PREMIERE at the HORZYCA Theatre 2011-01-08

The script to the performance of “New Don Quixote” has got hidden inside it many plays by Aleksander Fredro – the well known and less known ones (“Just Anyone Woman”, “Grouchiness and Contrariness”, “Mr Geldhab”, “Candle Burned-out”, “I can’t marry”, “Talking Nineteen to the Dozen”).  Aleksander Fredro loved people, and therefore the characters of his plays are so diverse and colourful: noble, quarrelsome, perverse, vindictive, ridiculous, inveterate in their beliefs, naïve, romantically amorous, and mercenary. Nevertheless, they all are presented with favour. While being dressed in a comic form, they trigger off smiles and liking of spectators.
