Wojciech B. Sobieszak, Chairman of the CPP Supervisory Board, accepted the certificate from Mayor Micha\u0142 Zaleski. The certificate presentation ceremony took place on March 13th at Nicolaus Bank Cafe.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The history of breakfast cereal production in Toru\u0144 began in 1977. That&#8217;s when the first &#8216;instant&#8217; corn flakes rolled off the production line,&#8221; recalls Wojciech B. Sobieszak, then a student doing an internship at Przedsi\u0119biorstwo Przemys\u0142u Ziemniaczanego (Potato Industry Enterprise), which was transformed into Toru\u0144-Pacific in the early 1990s. In 1994, the company was acquired by Nestl\u00e9 and General Mills and joined the Cereal Partners Worldwide group. Since 1995, cornflakes have been offered under the Nestl\u00e9 Corn Flakes brand. They are the most popular breakfast product in Poland.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the breakfast cereal manufacturer, this year&#8217;s competition honored companies specializing in steel structure manufacturing, construction, beauty, food service, and cosmetics.
