It is the second oldest secondary school in the Pozna\u0144 region, after Marysi\u0144ka in Pozna\u0144.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The history of this institution is extraordinary, and the list of its alumni is even more remarkable. Associated with the school were, among others: Hipolit Cegielski \u2013 philologist, industrialist, social activist, journalist, and politician; J\u0119drzej \u015aniadecki \u2013 physician, biologist, chemist, and philosopher; Marian Langiewicz \u2013 general and dictator of the January Uprising; Archbishop Florian Stablewski \u2013 Primate of Poland; Father Kazimierz Zimmermann \u2013 Rector of the Jagiellonian University; J\u00f3zef Przyborowski \u2013 the first Polish archaeologist; Wojciech Tr\u0105mpczy\u0144ski \u2013 Marshal of the Sejm; Kazimierz Grus \u2013 caricaturist; and Jerzy Hulewicz \u2013 painter, writer, and playwright.<\/p>\n<p>The school&#8217;s current name is the General and Vocational School Complex in Trzemeszno.<\/p>\n<p>The photo shows graduates of class B, graduating class of 1971.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After 52 years since our high school graduation, we met again within the walls of our alma mater, Micha\u0142 Kosmowski High School in Trzemeszno.
