“There is no success without teamwork. All the award recipients emphasized and thanked the support of their colleagues and superiors, without which they would not have been able to achieve success. Continue and support teamwork, and success will come naturally,” said Wojciech Sobieszak, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Cereal Partners Poland, addressing the company’s employees during the annual review. For the second time in the company’s history, the review was conducted remotely.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The only part of the meeting held in person was the presentation of Employee of the Year statuettes to the 10 best employees. Awards were also given, but this time remotely, to the authors of 10 key projects implemented in 2021.<\/p>\n

“The past year marked a major step for the company in automation and digitization,” concluded Aleksander Wasilewski, President of the Management Board of Cereal Partners Poland and Head of the CPW Central Europe Cluster. “One of the largest investment projects this year was the automation of the packaging facility at the cereal factory in Toru\u0144.” Until now, we manually packed cereal packages into boxes and placed them on pallets. Today, robots do it for us. We planned and organized the entire investment process and team work so that automation wouldn’t mean job losses. We succeeded because we began training people early enough to assign them to tasks, including those at the expanding plant in Lubicz and the Distribution Center in Gr\u0119bocin, which still require human involvement. Of course, a significant portion of the packaging team currently supervises the work of robots. This requires new competencies, training, and the acquisition of new skills. But these are the times we live in, and change is an integral part of our lives, including our professional lives,” summarized CEO Wasilewski.<\/p>\n

Cereal Partners Poland Toru\u0144-Pacific is a manufacturer of Nestl\u00e9 breakfast cereals and cereal bars. Since 1994, it has been part of the Cereal Partners Worldwide group, established in 1990 by Nestl\u00e9 SA and General Mills Inc.
