We are facing an unprecedented crisis, the consequences of which none of us know. The COVID-19 pandemic is impacting the entire world and each of us individually. The coronavirus poses a threat to human life and the global economy. I am proud of how the Cereal Partners Poland Toru\u0144-Pacific team is organizing its work to safely fulfill its even more important mission these days \u2013 providing safe food to Polish and other families \u2013 in a manner that is safe for employees.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“When millions of people are stuck in their homes under mandatory and necessary quarantine, access to food becomes a fundamental need. Ensuring the continuity of food production and distribution is becoming a critical element in maintaining social peace and effectively combating the epidemic,” emphasizes Wojciech B. Sobieszak, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Cereal Partners Poland Toru\u0144-Covid WBSPacific. “I highly value the efficiency of the entire CPP team and management. In just a few days, the company implemented a number of safeguards, solutions, and procedures that protect employees from coronavirus infection.” Mandatory temperature checks for everyone entering company facilities, enhanced hygiene protocols, the requirement to maintain social distancing from other employees, disinfectant dispensers readily available, and remote work for almost all office staff are just some of the measures already in place.<\/p>\n

As Sobieszak emphasizes, the crisis management team, led by CEO Aleksander Wasilewski, is particularly attentive to the employees and the company’s sensitivity to the needs of the local community. CPP Toru\u0144-Pacific has already donated a batch of face shields to paramedics at the Provincial Hospital in Toru\u0144 and regularly provides free breakfast cereals and cereal bars to hospitals in the region.
