The prestigious “Wilamy” statuettes were presented for the 22nd time at the W. Horzyca Theatre in Toru\u0144. The gala, held in a unique atmosphere, provided an opportunity to honor actors, individuals, and institutions particularly committed to the Toru\u0144 theater. The financial award for Arkadiusz Walesiak, the most popular actor voted for by the audience in the poll, was funded by Cereal Partners Poland Toru\u0144-Pacific, the manufacturer of Nestl\u00e9 breakfast cereals. This year’s ceremony was preceded by the premiere of Calderon de la Barka’s comedy “The Princess Upside Down,” directed by Pawe\u0142 Aigner. After the performance, it was time for the main event \u2013 \u200b\u200bthe presentation of the “Wilamy” statuettes. These awards, made of bronze, stone, and silver, were designed by Zbigniew Mikielewicz. Arkadiusz Walesiak received the award in the “Most Popular Actor” category. The award was presented by Wojciech B. Sobieszak, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Cereal Partners Poland Toru\u0144-Pacific. Since 2010, the company has been funding awards for the most popular actors, chosen by the audience. This is part of the company’s collaboration with the local community and regional cultural institutions, aimed at fostering good neighborliness.<\/p>\n

The title of “Most Popular Actress” was awarded to Matylda Podfilipska, while the “Friend of the Theatre” award was received by the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Regional Medical Chamber. Magdalena Jaworska was honored in the “Theatrical Education” category.<\/p>\n

The Wilamy Awards are among the most important honors in the Toru\u0144 theater community, recognizing not only actors but also individuals and institutions that support the development of the theater. The awards are a token of gratitude for their commitment and contribution to promoting the art of theater in the region.<\/p>\n
