Nestlé breakfast bars have been manufactured in Lubicz on Małgorzatowo Street since 2003. Today, the Lubicz plant is the only one in the entire Cereal Partners Worldwide group that supplies bars to nearly 60 countries worldwide. 80% of production is exported. A family picnic for Lubicz employees was held to mark the factory’s 20th anniversary. It was preceded by a meeting between the Cereal Partners Poland Toruń-Pacific management board and local authorities.

The invitation to the anniversary celebration was accepted by Toruń Starost Marek Olszewski, Toruń Vice Mayor Paweł Gulewski, Chairman of the District Council Paweł Politowski, Mayor of Lubicz Marek Nicewicz, and Voivodeship Marshal Piotr Całbecki, represented by Katarzyna Lubańska, a member of the regional council. The company’s supervisory board was represented by its chairman, Wojciech B. Sobieszak, who headed the company as CEO during the plant’s establishment.

During an open meeting of the CPP management board with invited guests, Aleksander Wasilewski, president of CPP, emphasized that the factory was built in record time. Only six months passed from the groundbreaking on the construction site to the launch of production. Sławomir Zdrojewski has been managing the plant since its inception. Today, the Lubicz factory employs nearly 200 residents of the region, primarily from the Toruń district and the city of Toruń. Working with numerous suppliers and partners, primarily located in Kujawy and Pomerania, the plant supports 500 families. Over the past 20 years, the Lubicz team has proven to be an important link in the supply chain for CPW markets with the highest quality products. Today, bars from Lubicz are shipped practically all over the world.

The meeting between the CPP management board and local authorities to mark the 20th anniversary of the Lubicz plant provided an opportunity to reminisce about CPP’s role in the economic and social life of the region. After the official meetings, it was time for an outdoor celebration. Invited guests and employees with their families also had the opportunity to visit part of the packaging facility at the Lubicz plant.
