The “Golden 100 of Pomerania and Kuyavia” Gala traditionally gathered the elite of the regional business community, regional authorities, and representatives of the academic world. “Gazeta Pomorska” published its ranking of the largest companies in Pomerania and Kuyavia for the 24th time. This year’s awards ceremony took place under the unusual circumstances of COVID restrictions: masks were distributed at the entrance, health declarations were collected, winners stood at a mandatory distance on stage, and the audience was only half full.
But the gala was, above all, an opportunity to maintain personal relationships. Despite the restrictions, there was time for behind-the-scenes conversations and, for example, to congratulate the Rector of Nicolaus Copernicus University, Professor Andrzej Sokala, who is taking over the rectorship for the next term.
