A special picnic was held in the meadows adjacent to the Nestlé cereal bar factory in Lubicz to celebrate Safety Day and Children’s Day. The event, organized under the slogan “Safe Play is a Common Cause,” was dedicated to the idea of safety, both at work and in everyday life. Employees of Cereal Partners Poland Toruń-Pacific, along with their families and loved ones, were invited to the picnic.

The picnic attracted nearly 700 people, including employees of the Lubicz factory. The official opening of the event was hosted by Monika Michniak, CEO, and Wojciech B. Sobieszak, Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Wojciech B. Sobieszak emphasized that such initiatives are extremely important because they build a sense of community and remind everyone of the priority of daily safety. He also recalled that July of this year will mark the 35th anniversary of the registration of Toruń-Pacific, a company that has been part of the Cereal Partners Worldwide group since 1994, founded by Nestlé and General Mills.

The Lubicz factory, which has been producing breakfast cereal bars for 22 years, is crucial for delivering these products to consumers worldwide. During the picnic, participants had the opportunity to tour the factory, learn about the production process, and participate in numerous attractions and games. Demonstrations and training sessions organized by the Lubicz Volunteer Fire Department were very popular.
