On March 19, 2024, a plenary session of the Business Council at the Faculty of Economics and Management of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń was held. The main topic of the meeting was to discuss changes to the Faculty’s curricula, which aim to adapt the undergraduate programs to the needs of the region. Proposals were discussed in areas such as economics, the digital economy, logistics, and management.
The audience highly appreciated the work of the teams preparing the syllabi for individual programs. During the discussion, a number of corrections and additions were proposed, which were ultimately adopted in the final versions of the programs. Participants discussed the new challenges facing the region and the opportunities presented by the modern digital economy. The need for continuous adaptation of curricula to the dynamically changing needs of the labor market and the development of competencies essential in modern management and logistics was emphasized.
