On January 20, 2024, the 12th Marshal’s Charity Ball took place at the Jordanki Cultural and Congress Center in Toruń. Proceeds from the ball supported those in need in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship. Among the beneficiaries was the Social Welfare Home in Grabia. Wojciech B. Sobieszak, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, made the donation on behalf of Cereal Partners Poland Toruń-Pacific.

The ball, organized by Piotr Całbecki, Marshal of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, is a lavish social and charitable event. Numerous auctions are held during the ball, with proceeds going to the beneficiaries’ accounts. This year, the Social Welfare Home in Grabia was once again one of them.

“CPP Toruń-Pacific has a special relationship with the center for children and youth with disabilities in Grabia.” We donate company products to the beneficiaries, and our employees volunteer to help keep the park and garden clean and tidy,” said Wojciech B. Sobieszak, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, after the ball. “That’s why, without hesitation, I pledged several thousand złoty during one of the auctions to help the children and youth of Grabia. I know these funds will be put to good use.”

The most expensive item auctioned was a painting by Eligiusz Wacław Baranowski, which fetched 120,000 złoty. Guests at the ball included actors Grażyna Szapołowska, Katarzyna Żak, and Paweł Deląg. Representatives of regional companies, institutions, and politicians were also present. Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense, was also present.
