The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders assessed the performance of the Management Board of Cereal Partners Poland Toruń-Pacific (CPP) in 2023. The company’s results achieved last year were positively assessed, even though they did not meet all the expectations of the owners, which were set in the 2023 budget plan. The Management Board received a discharge and will continue to lead the company in its unchanged composition for the next year. Wojciech B. Sobieszak, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, represented the company’s owners, Societe des Produits Nestlé S.A. and General Mills International S.Á.RL.
“Last year, we operated under very high inflation,” said Aleksander Wasilewski, President of the CPP Management Board, after receiving the discharge. “Thanks to the determination of the entire team, we were able to control costs and effectively enforce price increases for finished products in the market. This allowed us to maintain profitability and a level of profitability acceptable to the owners.” I am truly proud of our team, which has delivered an exemplary implementation of the new KitKat breakfast cereal product, from a sourcing, production, and commercial perspective. This product can, without any exaggeration, be considered the launch of the decade, befitting the market leader that we are. For this, I thank you once again.
As Wojciech B. Sobieszak, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Cereal Partners Poland, emphasized during the Annual General Meeting, it is the Owners’ will and desire that CPP face the challenges of this year with the same determination as last year. These include, above all, changes in the retail market, turmoil in the still unstable supply market, and challenges resulting from social, demographic, and technological changes in the broader business environment.
